FEATURES

Adjustable Platform -
The PortaMill's patented platform includes an adjustable outrigger arm to accommodate extension ladders of different widths. Comes complete with track sweepers and quick-connect/quick-disconnect 2-way adjustable, carriage-retaining balance-wheel assemblies.

Smooth-Acting Sawhead -
Smoothly and accurately raise and lower the sawhead (and horizontally-mounted chainsaw) by turning the crank conveniently located at the top of the vertical guide bar - Clockwise for up and counter-clockwise for down.

Precise Depth-of-Cut -
Accurately set your depth-of-cut using the professional "quarter scale" supplied with your PortaMill®. Scaled at 2" and 1" with a 5/16th kerf already calculated in, there is also a "user scale" so that you can mill your own custom thickness. Engaging the depth-of-cut locking handle locks the height of the sawhead for precise, accurate cuts.

Solid Dogging -
The Norwood® PortaMill® comes standard with two log dog/log rest assemblies for fast dogging and positive locking. Also features "back" dogs for fast dogging of squared beams, cants and boards.

Comfort -
The PortaMill® features an adjustable push handle that you can set to suit your height. The handle-mounted throttle control allows you to comfortably activate the chainsaw throttle while guiding the saw through the cut. The push handle also features soft grips.

QUALITY-BUILT

Like all Norwood portable sawmills, the PortaMill is quality-built in the U.S.A. and Canada by highly-trained, highly-skilled operators with leading-edge fabrication and machining technologies.

And, like all equipment bearing the Norwood name, this sawmill is protected by industrial-grade powder-coat – electrostatically-applied thermoset polymer cured under heat to create a hard finish much tougher than conventional paint.

Photos of the PortaMill in this listing show the optional Auxiliary Chain & Bar Oiler (not included) – Your chainsaw only delivers oil to the top of the bar where it is easily thrown off at the nose, especially when the saw is mounted sideways for milling. The auxiliary oiler kit reduces friction and heat of the chain by up to 50%. It delivers oil to the sprocket of your sawbar. The oiler kit includes a bottle, bottle basket, oil line with valve and copper nozzle. Add the optional auxiliary chain & bar oiler kit for only USD $89.00 more (Item No. PM02) (shipping and taxes extra).

The sawmill in this listing is a brand-new Norwood PortaMill.  It does not include the chainsaw, ladder or optional auxiliary oiler kit.

* The PortaMill adapts to many chainsaw makes and models.
